Mission of the Center

The Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center provides a nurturing environment where individuals and families can grow and develop in mind, body and spirit.  We serve the spectrum of family life, from infants through seniors, through programs related to education, physical fitness, and communal life.  Our core values are rooted in Jewish principle, and we welcome members of the community at large, regardless of their faith or background.

• Largest Early Childhood Center with programs from 8 weeks to first grade
• School Age programs on site and 2 satellites
• Camp for 3 to 11 year olds

• Wellness and Fitness with one indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools, state of the art fitness center, cardio room, CYBEX circuit, free weights, classes, certified personal trainers
