The Center offers an onsite program and 2 satellite programs for school age children. The program runs Monday through Friday and is open to children in full day kindergarten through sixth grade. Participants choose from a variety of activities which change on a monthly basis. SAAJCC membership is required for Kaleidoscope. Afterschool children can participate in swimming lessons, free swim, homework room, gym time, science, arts and crafts, organized sports and baking. When Albany City Schools are closed we offer Vacation Camp Days.

The ASH Satellite After School Program is open to Albany School of Humanities (ASH) children in kindergarten through sixth grade and runs Monday-Friday during the school year. The program operates from 2:30PM to 5:30PM. Snacks are provided daily. We offer a variety of activities including arts and crafts, preparing and sampling nutritious snacks, music and theater games, teambuilding, and guest speakers including a bi-monthly Big Bang Science presentation. We also offer Homework Club in a quiet setting with tutors and swimming once a month at the SAAJCC.

Vacation Camp Days are offered at the SAAJCC when Albany Public Schools are closed. The fee for 5 afternoons a weeks is $207 per month. Contact Gabi Shoemaker at 438-6651 x139 or GabiS@saajcc.org  for more details.
 

     
    Montessori Magnet School

If your child attends the Montessori Magnet School, he/she/they could join the JCC Montessori After School program. Kids in the Pre-k through 6th grade have an opportunity to be in a safe nurturing environment that's loads of fun. The kids play sports, games, tae kwon do, practice music and dance, do arts and crafts, swim at the Center once a month and much more. Children are also offered Homework Club in a quiet setting with tutors as well as special events including Big Bang Science once a month. Vacation Camp Days are offered at the SAAJCC when Albany Public Schools are closed. Contact Lauren Newell for fees and availability.
