Kids in the Pre-k through 5th grade have an opportunity to be in a safe nurturing environment that's loads of fun. The kids play sports, games, tae kwon do, practice music and dance, do arts and crafts, swim at the Center once a month and much more. Children are also offered Homework Club in a quiet setting with tutors as well as special events. Vacation Camp Days are offered at the SAAJCC when Albany Public Schools are closed. School Day Closings

There will be vacation camps held at the center, whenever the Albany School District is closed (except for Jewish holidays.) Only children enrolled in Kaleidoscope, or our off-site programs (Montessori and ASH), or those of SAAJCC members are eligible to attend our vacation camps.

Vacation camps will be held from 8:00am until 6:00pm on Monday through Thursday. The Center closes at 5:00pm on Fridays, as well as the afternoon before all Jewish Holidays.

Week-long camps are held when elementary schools traditionally hold their breaks, between Christmas and New Year's, in February, and April.

Children can swim in our indoor pool on vacation camp days. Activities vary according to different themes. There are occasional guest entertainer days at the Center. Children should bring their lunch, and we will provide a morning (breakfast) snack and an afternoon snack.
